The Competition was organised on August 22, 2024. The topic of the competition was “Man and Machine” There were two participants from each of the four houses. Every speaker was provided just two and a half minutes to express his or her views. The judges were English teachers Mrs Kapoor and Mrs. Bhalla. Before the competition began the participants were informed about the rules of the competition. Thereafter the contestants came one by one to highlight the issue, All of them seemed to be well prepared and therefore, expressed themselves beautifully. They told how man is becoming the slave of the machine, how he is suffering due to his lust for money, and how much machines are responsible for environmental degradation. It must have been quite difficult for the judges to select the three best speakers as the performance by all of them was remarkable. When the result was announced Karishma of Tilak House got first position while Daksh of Nehru House got second position. On the other hand, Akansha of Gandhi House got the third slot.
