Now time has come to take the issue very seriously. We should make festivals enjoyable not a nuisance. The government should issue certain guidelines in this regard. The authorities should ensure that loudspeakers are used only within permissible hours and that the volume is within limits. There is a need to start awareness campaigns to encourage people to celebrate festivals responsibly.

There are large potholes and uneven surfaces. As a result, commuting has become a nightmare for residents. The condition becomes worse when it rains. Very often accidents take place because potholes are not visible due to water logging. The commuters also have to face heavy traffic jams due to it.

Whatever has been mentioned is enough to highlight the seriousness of the situation. It is high time to take action. First of all, there is a need to repair these roads. Moreover, regular maintenance of these roads must be ensured. Indeed, better infrastructure will not only ease travel but also prevent unnecessary delays and mishaps.

Everybody knows that public parks are essential for fostering a sense of community and providing a safe space for exercise and relaxation. But there is no public park in this locality. Due to of lack of green spaces, children find no place to play and to do recreational activities. Even the adults have to go far places for morning walks and jogging. This also affects the mental and physical well-being of the people.


Therefore I urge the authorities to prioritize the development of parks in our area and maintain existing green spaces for the benefit of all. Your attention to this matter will surely make a difference

The smoggy skies, especially during the winter, make it hard to breathe and pose serious health risks to the residents. The children and the elderly people are the worst affected. The schools are forced to shift to online mode which affects the studies of the children.

 

Undoubtedly, some steps have been taken, such as restrictions on industrial emissions and the closure of construction. But these measures are not enough. There is a need to do much more. Public transport should be improved to reduce the number of private vehicles. At the same time, awareness should be created to encourage people to adopt cleaner practices like carpooling and planting trees.

Through the columns of your prestigious newspaper, I would like to highlight a very serious problem faced by the people of Patna.  It is the escalating issue of traffic jams. 


In Patna, traffic jam is a major problem. During rush hour, the roads here are frequently jammed. As a result, it becomes difficult for people to reach their destinations on time. There are several reasons behind this problem. In the last few years, the number of vehicles has increased to manifold. On the other hand, the roads are still narrow and poorly maintained. The condition has become worse due to Illegal encroachments. Furthermore, public transport facilities are limited. Thus, people are forced to use private vehicles. In busy areas, the situation is especially bad. These traffic jams not only waste time and fuel but also cause pollution.


I request the concerned authorities to take steps to solve this issue. There is a need to take some concrete steps like widening of roads, improving public transport, removing of illegal encroachments, and introducing a better traffic management system.
